Purchased this wheel used with Amazon warehouse. It was labeled like new, and they were right, no signs of use at all not a scratch not even on the pedals. So I guess I lucked out. Works right out of the box on my PS3. Purchased this for my PS3 while planning to purchase a PS4 in the near future, it's nice with no need to update my wheel once I make the switch. I've done my research with all the available wheels in the market at the moment. For me, at $69, this was the most practical and sensible option compare to the much more expensive options. I was willing to sacrifice a clutch pedal, H shifter and FFB to save a hundred bucks or so. Especially since I'm not even sure this is something I would invest time on.
The wheel itself is very nicely built. Few creaks here and there being made out of plastic. The wheel itself is pretty small, got used to it after a while though so it doesn't bother me as much. Pedals offer sufficient resistance. Shifters give off a satisfying "click". Played it on GT5 and GT6 so far, sensitivity is fine after a few googling to get everything set up. Right now, I have it mounted on the folding table, but I plan on constructing a dedicated stand for it. Really need one especially for the pedals which keeps on slipping even on carpet. I find the bungee cord system to offer enough resistance, but definitely no where near what a FFB would offer as far as realism is concerned.
Overall, a good purchase at $69 with free shipping. If I invest more time in sim racing, will definitely upgrade to perhaps a T150. And it wouldn't hurt too much to part with this one. But if you're on the fence dishing out any money, this T80 is a good way to try out racing wheels.

BLUF: I know this isnt what a cost conscious consumer wants to hear but..... Just get the G27. Just do it. Stop wasting time and $80 for the T80. Either you can pay $240 for a G27 of you can pay $320 for the G27 after you have purchased the T80 against my suggestions. Cant afford a G27? Then you cant afford to waste $80 on the T80. Your choice.

Pros: There isnt a lower priced halfway capable racing wheel on the market. Its universally recognized in any game.... blah, blah, blah.

Cons: This thing is seriously chintzy. I busted the wheel out and tested it in MAME and a few other PC games. Then I put it away after making sure it worked. I picked up a G27 (for me of course) and relegated the T80 to player 2 duties. Ok. Not lying here. After getting the wheels plugged in I started working on 2 player split screen games for my arcade. Let me stress: I'M NOT LYING!!! The gas pedal stopped working. I hadnt even completed ONE LAP in any game. The gas pedal stopped working. No worries (I guess) because the gas pedal is mapped to a button on the wheel. Set everything up and ensured my two player games were in fact 2 player games. I put the wheels away. Fast forward 2 weeks. Now its time to map controls and fine tune the arcade cab. Nope. The T80 was no longer recognized in most of the games it had worked in just 2 weeks earlier. Insult to injury: the connector that attaches the pedal system to the wheel no longer stays put. It requires something to keep it put. I dont know what to say. I havent even really used the damned thing. The G27? Still worked.

Additional notes: I am pretty much done setting up my arcade cab. All the systems. All the hyperspin wheels. All the 2 player local coop split screen PC racing games. Ipac 2 player arcade joystick set up. 2 gamepads. 2 light guns. Now 2 wheels. I have learned ALOT. I have been hopeful. I have then been disappointed. Then I spent hours in the forums and on Youtube making things work where they can work. I have learned alot.

Trust me: Just get the G27. Dont take a chance thinking the forums and Youtube will save you when it comes to the T80.

Before I review the product I just wanna say this has NO FORCE FEEDBACK (go find a different steering wheel if you want to now) this will more than likely be a turn off for people but for those who are like me and have no means of trying to become the next Lewis Hamilton or Sebastian Vettel. I was looking for a steering wheel that was first off the right price ($66 when I purchased it) and secondly has the features that most steering wheels should have. The Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition Racing Wheel for the PS4 met those requirements which led me to my purchase of the steering wheel and GT Sport (might review later as this game has very up and down reviews).

      WHATS IN THE BOX?:
      - Steering Wheel
      - Pedals
      - Clamp and manual
      ==============================
      REVIEW:
      ---------------------------------------------
      OVERVIEW:
Overall the steering wheel feels great, it has paddle shifters, controller buttons, directional arrows, options and share button, etc. The housing of the steering wheel is hard plastic but what do you expect at $100 original price. The clamp for the steering wheel I thought looked clunky at first but then I tried it out and it works pretty good, it clamps onto my Ikea desk that has a thickness of about 1-2 inches effortlessly. I am sorry to say but I do not know what thickness it will and will not clamp too but I figured the product page or customer questions should have that somewhere. As stated above there is no force feedback so it is powered via a "bungie cord" mechanism which feels great. As long as you are not viciously counter steering or just turning, the mechanism should last for a while. The pedal has a throttle and a brake both are quite tight and not too realistic feeling which I will go into more details below (including the steering wheel). In the end the Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition Racing Wheel for the PS4 met my expectations and has satisfied me so far. If you are someone who just wants to enjoy a racing game with a steering wheel whether its GT, NFS, Forza (there is an Xbox version of the steering wheel), Project Cars, Asseto Rossa, etc this is the best bang for the buck at around $60, at the original price of $100 I would rather go up a tier and spend usually around $30-50 more on the Thrustmaster T150/pro or spend double the price and occasionally see the Logitech G29 on sale for $200 and these two will come with force feedback.

      PROS:
      + Sturdy steering wheel
+ Steering wheel and pedal kit
+ Build quality for the price
      CONS:
      - Pedals are tough
      - Pedals are at a weird angle for ground use
      MAYBE A CON?:
      - No force feedback (not for me but could be for you)
      ---------------------------------------------
      STEERING WHEEL:
I repeat there is NO FORCE FEEDBACK if you missed it the first this is your last chance to find the other two products that I listed. The diameter of the wheel is around 8 inches so it is not a full size steering wheel. It has a turning radius of 270 degrees which should be more than enough for just racing. Has all the standard controls (X,O, square, triangle, L2, R2, start/options and share, directional buttons, and two buttons behind L2 and R2 which could be L3 and R3?) on the face for operation without a controller and has paddle shifters. The little red knob that has a red light when plugged in is the start/options and share button, I believe up is start/options and down is to share. The clamp was wonky at first glance but exceeded expectations when used. As I mentioned I don't know the exact measurements of thickness for fit of the clamp I apologize for that. Overall I like the steering wheel and feels sturdy for the price I got it at.
      ---------------------------------------------
      PEDALS:
So this is where I did not like the product at all, I mean its bearable because I drive with two feet anyways but for those who don't will need to hold it with the other foot. Why do you need to do this? because mainly the brakes although the throttle is a little tough, the brakes just have way too much tension and require a good amount of force for full engagement. The throttle was a little tough but that is slowly getting broken into whereas the brakes just seem to not care about your foot and stay solid even after 30 hrs of use (yes I know that isn't much but I can tell the throttle is getting softer). The angle at which the pedals are positioned are too much unless you have them mounted onto a stand. I have mine just on the ground and I think they are angled too much for that location. Some people say the pedals are too close to each other but I don't think so and I wear shoe sizes of 9-10 just for reference, unless you have Shaq feet I can see this being a problem. Overall the pedals can and should be better but I am sure that is how they force you to buy the better pedals with the clutch which will ultimately make you want to upgrade your steering wheel too.

A couple of issues I have. Firstly, I hate how the brake pedal is almost vertical. Finding it really hard to get used too. Secondly, the foot pedal is almost impossible to keep in place. Needs to come with some kind of platform you can screw it too. I spose I could make something up, but just decided to buy a steering wheel stand. Will see how it goes with that. Anyway, other than those things it works pretty well.

This is a quick review after a days use. So far so good. The product appears to be of reasonably quality (in terms of built, Materials, Movement etc). It was very easy to set up - Just Plug and play. The PS4 recognized the wheel instantly and i had no difficulty in setting it up.

The wheel is smooth, No Input Lag, No dead zone, and all the buttons work fine. The buttons and paddle shifters are tactile and feel good to use. While the pedals are also smooth and responsive, they are pretty light and topple a bit if you apply force. It needs support at the back for proper use. The weight of the pedals can be improved to make it more stable.

With regard to compatibility, this one works well with Gran Turismo Sport as shown in the video, F1 2021, and The Crew2. I have so far checked only these three, for other titles, you need to check on the thrustmaster's official website.

On the Flip side, There is no force feedback, and it has a bungee cord inside instead of gears / belt. Also the rotation is only 240 degree. These may not matter much if you are an entry level user. Considering that these features are not available, my personal view is that a price of Around 8-9 K would be appropriate

I will update this review after about a month of Usage

Gave it 5 stars because for the price, it's a really good steering wheel. I had expected it to be loose and hard to control, but was ok as it was just for the kids to play around with (Toddlers) during this lockdown period, but instead, the wheel feels great, has the firmness you expect in a steering wheel and is easy to use and control cars with. Not only does it keep the kids occupied, it's also improved daddy's NFS and Dirt Rally racing on the PS4!
