I bought these because I love the feel of my XB1 Elite controller's thumbsticks, and I had read that XB1 and PS4 thumbsticks were interchangeable (and have been unable to find DS4 thumbsticks with the same grip pattern as the XB1 elite controller). Sadly, I learned that there is a slight difference that makes these unusable on my Scuf Impact PS4 controller. On the underside of these thumbsticks (and on the XB1 elite controller thumbsticks), the area that connects to the inside of the controller is raised a bit. In the XB1 elite controller, this is where the magnet is that allows the tops of the thumbsticks to be interchangeable - in these thumbsticks, it's just plastic, but is raised the same way. I was hoping it would still work, but with the Scuf controller, it keeps the thumbstick from settling low enough to the controller, so the rounded top portion of the thumbstick rubs against the locking piece of the Scuf controller, causing the thumbstick to feel extremely "sticky", so that it doesn't naturally pull back to the center when you let go.
Rather than returning them, I decided to see if I could modify the underside to get it to fit properly using a Dremel. So, using whatever grinding/sanding bit I had available, I ground down the underside, then used some kind of etching bit to deepen the hole in the center just a bit. After a bit of work, I managed to get it to fit the Scuf controller without catching, so it feels nice. I'm debating whether to go through the trouble with the other one or just buy some official Scuf thumbstick replacements, but I *do* really enjoy the way the grip feels on these. I've included a picture of the various thumbsticks, as well as my Scuf controller with a standard DS4 thumbstick on the left, and one of these XB1 OEM thumbsticks on the right, for comparison.

Nice thumbsticks, but *do not buy them for a Scuf Impact controller*

Item feels nice, however missing from description was: diameter of thumb pad smaller than oem ps4 thumb pad, the neck on the thumbstick is much taller than oem. Would have been nice to know, im not sure if that will affect FPS games since your thumb now has to travel longer distance.. we shall see... But quality right now seem pretty good.

These are not OEM. That doesn’t mean they are terrible quality at all. But it does mean you guys are lying. And that’s upsetting. These went smooth in a month. The original OEM analog sticks had grip until they cracked. And that took slightly over a year.
Stop lying and advertise the truth. I’d rate them 4/5 to 5/5 if they had said they fit OEM but aren’t the same plastic.
