Great keyboard especially for the money
Purchased this keyboard to as a backup but I ended use with my work setup. I had originally intended for this to be a backup keyboard, but after using it I made the decision to retire my aging k95 and replace it with this. For those unfamiliar with the k95, it is made by Corsair and it sells for ~$150 depending on where you shop - it is regarded highly among enthusiasts. The fact that this ~$30 keyboard has taken its place on my desk says just about all you'd need to know about the Steampunk's quality, but I will elaborate anyways. Simply picking up the box will let you know that this thing is built well. From what I could tell, the housing was mostly plastic, but it feels quite durable, and is fairly heavy. Build quality is excellent, very sturdy piece of hardware. And as an added bonus, it comes with a detachable wrist rest (attached using magnets, no screws or latches). The cable is high quality and is sleeved in red/black which is a plus also, and the connector is gold plated. The lighting is great quality as well, though they are only red led, no RGB. There are multiple effects to choose from to customize the lighting, with the controls built into the keyboard macros. Overall, I'd say this keyboard is an absolute steal, and it checks all of the boxes - clicky keys/switches, durable, great build quality. If you're in the market for a keyboard, consider this one before dropping $100+ on a different brand because I guarantee you that this one will match or beat its quality.

This is the first time I have an mechanical keyboard. My friend suggested me to get a mechanical keyboard. However this mechanical keyboard is not as precise as it should be. I am a fast typer. It sometimes doesn't respond as fast as I type. I tried the one of my friend with another brand name mechanical keyboard. It responded perfectly.

I would spend more money to buy a brand name that actually works.

Some keys sound and feel a little inconsistent between each other. It's quite heavy and gives the impression that it is sturdy. The white switches are replaceable and comes with two replacement switches in box (along with a key cap remover). I am no Mechanical keyboard savant, but the white switches are pleasant to type on they make audible clicks and aren't completely smooth if that helps. Obviously a Chinese made product but the few pages of instruction manual that I read aren't to chinglishy, although I can't find all the commands function commands (double press fn+del to return to normal lighting btw). Absolute trash wrist rest, magnets are pathetic and it has a giant seam where it connects. Feels very cheap too. If you like wrist rests either expect to buy some sort of third party, or move on. One reviewer I watched when I bought mine said the wrist rest didn't quite line up with the connection points, but mine fits for the most part. I will update if/when this keyboard dies so you will know what to expect for durability. I am pretty good on getting vengeance for cheaply made expensive products so don't think I forgot, just assume it hasn't broken if no update is made. The box mine shipped in was horrible (thanks amazon) so I am sure that took a few years off it's life, but I am too lazy to return and wait for a new one when I already have it. All around if you like red LEDs, as there is no alternative, I'd say it's worth it for the cheaper white variant, but the others are a tad too expensive for the quality and because only the white switches are replaceable, even if the white break quick, replacement will probably mean the keyboard will last a long time. With this said please keep in mind that this is my first mechanical keyboard so I have no reference for good switches or even what I like. They are pleasant sounding even though they may be a bit shrill to some, they are probably like an octave higher that most other switches I've heard.

This keyboard has awesome grip , keeping it on your desk when your pounding those keys to slay your enemies ! The backlit design is perfect for an all night gaming session and the color looks awesome ! Although it's mechanical it's quieter than others ones i've gotten in the past and i really can't complain.
    This keyboard is beautiful

Wow oh wow. Coolest purchase I have made. I was looking for a mechanical keyboard, but more specifically indulging in buying more long lasting and quality items for my computer setup so a keyboard is the easiest thing to buy (to me at least). I will say it is amazing over, the switches are perfect and the quality is great for something used.
When it arrived, it was packed very securely in boxes and wrapping paper. When I opened up the entire thing, a few of the switches fell off and I was not surprised because they are able to be added/removed. For a used keyboard I was not expecting the wrist rest, but it did come with it! It is magnetic to the keyboard, but not a strong magnet; enough to stay on and not be pushed around at least. The keyboard switches can be securely fastened with the bars inside, just mess with the buttons and you'll see what I'm talking about. It also came with a cool tool to remove your keys when you want to. Overall, AMAZING buy!

I've never tried these white switches before, and gave them a chance. I love them! More than the blues. These require less force than the blues and are quieter, but provide the feedback and clickiness. The feel is excellent. I've used them only for a few days, but so far I love them.
