With this steam controller case I only purchased because I got a steam controller during the steam summer sale for $33 and didn't plan on using it to often (just fighters and 5th person view games) and wanted to protect it while it's not in use so maybe perhaps I could sell it in decent condition if I no longer wanted it someday.As for the case itself. It's VERY well thought out and has a very soft neoprene like lining with cutouts for ALL your necessary accessories that came with the controller and more which was a pleasant surprise.All and all I give this 5 cabbages out of celiac disease

I purchased this specifically for a Steam Controller, but I have found that it also fits PS4 and Switch Pro Controllers reasonably well. As a Steam Controller case, I don't see how you could ask for more. It has space for everything related to your Steam Controller: the controller (obviously), a USB cable, the receiver, the adapter that allows you to plug the receiver into a USB cable, and it even has room for extra batteries. The case is sturdy and appears to be constructed to last.

As I mentioned a moment ago, it also fits PS4 and Switch Pro Controllers. The PS4 controller settles into the case rather well and doesn't rattle around in the case at all when zipped up. Actually, if I didn't already have a dedicated PS4 controller case, I would be pretty happy to use this Steam Controller case for that purpose. Since the PS4 controller is smaller than the Steam Controller, that leaves room for storage of other things like USB cords. The Switch Pro Controller, on the other hand, fits loosely and can rattle around a little in the case. That hasn't stopped me from carrying my Switch Pro Controller in this Steam Controller case, and I feel that despite maybe not being ideal, the case is sturdy enough to protect the Pro Controller regardless. I can't speak to the fit of XBox controllers.

So, for the purpose this case was intended (protecting a Steam Controller), this case is fantastic. Considering that it also comfortably fits controllers for at least 2 consoles, I think this case is a great buy.

Actually, I may have just talked myself into buying another one.

This is a great case made specifically for the now-discontinued Steam controller, but it also fits the Xbox One S controller. It holds it tight so that it doesn't move around, with pockets to securely hold the dongle, its extension, and a spare pair of AA batteries. It's also made so that it won't accidentally press the center button and turn it on.

Some people are having problems with the dongle not staying in place. You really have to push it down to lock it in, from one side to the other and not all at once. Maybe some of the cases have defects, but I'm having no problem. I guess the dongle's holder could wear out over time, but the case itself is very solid and will protect the controller.

Considering how Steam no longer makes the controller and accessories, and it's only available from third party sellers who usually scalp it, I highly recommend this case to keep it safe!

Really quite the excellent case, with a nice protective layer. This won't squish or give, and has space to store cords, extra batteries, and the wireless stick. Have to dock it a star though, because the extra space does not very securely hold the extra stuff, so the it isn't a good idea to jostle the case around if you've got stuff in it besides the controller. Otherwise, it's a great case for transporting back and forth.

I really wish I had been able to buy my original controller with one of these, and will probably pick one up at some point in the future. It's a nice hard shell, and I love how you can stow the accessories (including batteries) in the case along with the controller. If I had a complaint, it'd be the $20 price, but I think that's justifiable considering the build quality and the well-thought-out design. I managed to snag it along with a controller on Black Friday for the same price as the controller by itself, making it a no-brainer at the time. Now that I have a case for my second controller, though, I'm pretty well sold on picking up another, and will likely do so before our next road trip. That is, unless they release a two-controller-and-Steam-Link case, making the whole deal a single package to carry alongside the laptop.

I bought this for a super deal specifically to use with my Nintendo Switch Pro controller. I was using my Xbox One Elite controller case for it since I travel more with my Switch. The Pro controller fits really well into the Elite controller case, so I figured that even if it doesn't fit into this case, I was out just a few dollars.

For those that want to buy this for their Switch controllers, it does fit, but isn't snug and your controller will slide around a lot while traveling. I remedied the situation by putting a piece of foam at the top of the controller where the charging cable would be housed with the included velcro strap, and it makes the controller fit amazingly snug (refer to the customer images).

Honestly, I can't rate this lower than 5 stars because I don't use this case as intended, but if I was going to give it a star rating for the Nintendo Switch controller, I would give it 4/5 stars because of the need for an accommodation. It does work very well once you have it secured, so feel confident that your Nintendo Switch Pro controller is in good hands with this case!
