I've gone through a lot of headsets over the years, a few cheapies but mostly name brands like Logitsch and even SOund Blaster once or twice. The wired ones have all gone the way of the dodo for similar reasons. That stupid box on the wire. I have no idea why companies insist on putting those stupid boxes on the wire but really all they end up doing is creating a future problem. The always ALWAYS break for one reason or another.
I specifically bought these because they didn't have some stupid controls on the wire. It also helps that the wire is think and well made. Everything else was considered just a bonus. But what a bonus! Though I personally didn't much care about the 7.1 Surround Sound when purchasing boy does it make a difference in games! I was noticing sounds in games I've put hours in that I never even realized were there before! And the sound quality is top notch. My friends have noted the increased clarity of my voice since the switch!
All in all great headphones for the price! I considered knocking off a star is because of how high I have to keep the sensitivity with microphone boost for them to act normally. And while the mic is flexible enough to put in a good position from your face it also can't really be moved which can be mildly irritating at times.
But these are minor grips considering the comfort and style. My ear was starting to get sore from my last pair but these seem to almost float on my head in comparison.
All in all a good choice if your looking for a solid pair of headphones that will last you and won't break the bank as long as you don't mind being wired.

Worth the Weight!
Amazing sound but it is a little heavy and you have to plug it directly into the console which can be inconvenient. Based solely on the sound I would absolutely recommend this headset. It’s not too heavy but the weight is noticeable and I do not like being tethered to the PS4 but that’s the only stuff I don’t like. It’s great for blocking out surrounding sound and when you pump all sound through the headset not only can you hear a pin drop you can tell exactly where it dropped. Tested it with H1Z1 and it made a huge difference in my survivability. If your looking for amazing sound quality and do not mind a heavy headset or being directly connected to your console/pc this is a great choice.

The WelM gaming headset came into my eye while I was searching for a broken headphone.
7.1-channel sound in a high-grade shape. It seems to have a good quality and cheap price.
I bought it and waited a few days and finally arrived. The shipment arrived safely packed in a sturdy box.
The packaging of the box was simple and affordable.
The contents are simple. A headset and a simple manual are all there.
It connects to the desktop and automatically recognizes the usb sound driver.
I switched from Device Manager to a headset sound driver and heard a 7.1 channel sample sound.
Unexpectedly, the sound separation of space was good. Noise filters have been added to make the sound look cleaner.
This price is really great if it sounds like this.
The volume can also be adjusted. But it feels a bit uncomfortable because the microphone is almost fixed.
The performance is really superior than the price. The purchaser will have no regrets.

this headset is so nice~
i am a Korean and my hoby is game. Lol. battle ground, call of duty, etc....
anyway this headset looks heavy, but put on... not heavy. comfortable.
Sound is clearly! and install s/w - 7.1 chanel. equalizer etc.. function is variety!
volume switch is left side, nice position!
but vibration pas switch is uncomfotarble. i don't know on/off.
mic is nice. my game partner said your voice is sounds good!
