It's pretty good to say the least.
4 out of 5 stars
It's pretty good to say the least.
Edited: 1/30/21 Quite odd that this product on screen here is not the same as I remembered when i ordered it. I guess the original design it had turned out to be bad I suppose because I don't see it on amazon anymore. I still like to leave the review as it is, but I'll add few points here in my experience with the original product I have right now: Basically, its still in good condition. Quite durable too whenever I press the buttons hard. My left hand already used to its size so I don't feel the slight crap or pain like before. However, over the year or so I come to realize one thing I don't like about the product: The space bar. Yes, the space bar I mention below in my previous comment and said its unique? It turns out to be not so unique. Kind of bad imo as a design so it could be the reason why its not on amazon anymore. What's bad about the space bar has to do with its response and feel when using it. Some times in games, it doesn't always respond fast enough like it has a delay to it. Some times, I have to push the bar down hard to actually get the result I wanted in game which is too much work with my thumb that starts to crap some time. Overall, it's okay product since it still works. I just think the space bar design should've been something simple like this product in the picture. Oh well, that's all I like to share! ___________ This is the first time I purchased and use this gaming keyboard. I seen it around before in Fry's electronic but thought I didn't need it until later on I got a new laptop. The reason is I need a gaming keyboard is because I didn't want to abuse the laptop key letters (mainly the ASWD and space bar etc) so often to the point it would lose its durability sooner than later. So I went for this gaming keyboard. And now I want to share some thoughts about it. What I like about this product: It looks awesome. I like the design behind it as well as this interesting placement with the space bar. It's got LED lights and doesn't really require to download a driver since it simply operates just fine like a regular keyboard once you plug in the USB. (But just in case, read the instruction...) Now what I don't like about this product: This keyboard is rather...big. Maybe too big for my hand to the point I start to feel ache on my wrist and thumb. This is due to that unique space bar placement I mention. I mean it's good in some way just because it's different. However, if anyone with a same size as my hand have trouble with it, then it could be a problem. Then again, I gotten use to playing my left hand on the laptop keyboard since the gaps between the keybinds i click are very short so I'm willing to give this product a chance for a bit longer. Overall result: I give it 4/5! However, I do want to give reminder to gamers with small hands: Please be sure to check the measurement size of the keyboard to ensure you don't strain your hand too much.

Man, this thing is just neat as heck. For $16, you just can't beat it. Yeah, it's some Japanese offbrand, but the construction is solid and the driver software WORKS and is in English. The software is just awesome, you can literally change ANY key on this thing to another key. Perfect for getting all your key commands onto the left side of the keyboard. The software also lets you record macros the G buttons or ANY button at all! The lighting effects are pretty sweet as well, for a cheapo keyboard! You can set it to any color, and there are several neat effects (I don't use cuz I like it backlit all the time.) My only complaint is that it doesn't FEEL perfect. The way the keys push are not my favorite when it comes to a keyboard, they push fairly easily, but nothing insane. Just feels particularly different than my main keyboard, which is why I notice it. If you want a nice side keyboard for gaming but don't wanna drop huge money for a stupid joystick attached to it, get this thing.

I bought the T20 because it was the only keypad I saw that was actually fully programmable meaning it could record macros and be programmed for different keys outside of the ones on the keypad itself. Most other keypads will only let you reprogram or record macros strictly with the keys on the keypad. The software is easy to use to re arrange or record new inputs. The keys themselves are decent, not mechanical obviously but for membrane keys they feel fine. I bought this mainly to use in conjunction with a flight stick for certain flight simulators to have extra controls and this works great for that. I'll probably end up using it for other games as well. The LEDs are bright and there's a pretty good amount of settings in regards to different patterns, brightness and colors. Overall for the price I would definitely recommend it.

It works well enough. The keys are a bit mushy, definitely not mechanical nor a membrane. Somewhere oddly in between. The backlighting is okay, not something that I require but if you play in the dark then I can see it being something that is useful. It's not individual keys, just a single RGB light that lights it all up. Responsiveness is on par with any other keyboard/pad. The main reason I purchased this was to alleviate wear and tear on my keyboard, and it works well enough. Nothing bad or great about this thing. Not bad for the price, although I'd say that it's kind of highly priced for what it is compared to the rest of the items. You pay more for less keyboard than some of the other combos, but not that big of a deal. It's comfortable enough as well. The hand rest isn't removable that I can see. It's dedicated but you'll need to use it anyways as the pad itself is somewhat raised up. Having dedicated macros isn't something that I really need as I play mostly FPS games and they aren't as useful. I haven't bothered programming them but still use them in game somewhat. Overall pretty useful and does what it's supposed to. No complaints but also not blown away by it.

Finding a programmable key pad such as this is difficult. This one however is perfect. I am working on a type of sim pit setup and needed a versatile programmable keypad. The software available at the website (easy to find) per instruction booklet allows you to change any of the keys to anything you desire. The lighting is also very adjustable for color or effect in the software as well. If you're using it for an FPS its comfortable in my medium sized male hand. The palm rest seems to be removable from the back with a few small screws which ads to its versatility. 5 stars for its versatility, construction, aesthetics, and ergonomics. I just got the thing and haven't played with it much so i can't speak for its longevity. Again you will be very hard pressed to find another keypad like this one, believe me I searched for hours. I would love to see the old Saitek PRO Gamer Command Unit back in the market. Or someone to duplicate it. I miss the little thumb stick.

The product looks great and had potential.

What I like: I liked the price, that it came with a key remover tool and I like the lighting effects. Base sits study and does not slide around.

What I don't like: I have a large hand and my palm does not rest on the anti-fatigue pad; it actually hangs off while using WSAD; perfect if I were using the very top row, but that makes no sense. The pad needs to be about 2.5 – 3 inches larger and ergonomic. The pad is not as comfortable or slip proof as it could be. My hand hurts after using it, but be easier on smaller hand.

Additionally, the Caps Lock key does not appear to be programmable, at least in the game I was using. It would better to have the Shift key where the Caps Lock key or obsolete altogether. Maybe just me, but I tend to use my pinky on the Shift key for crouching/sneaking. Also, after only about 6 hours of use the letters are wearing off the keys.

Lastly, the FN key could be in different place as well as I was accidentally hitting it in combination with W and it was alternating letter vs arrow key during the game. Initially, I thought I the pad was failing and would unplug an plug it back it. But after researching and trial and error, I found what was causing the issue.

I'll be keeping the product at this point as I needed it to hold me over. I was offered a refund by the seller, but never got it.
