UPDATE - Head over teakettle in love with this keyboard...and using it with a MAC
UPDATE - I REALLY wanted this keyboard to last, but it did not. It just stopped working one day. NO reason why and I had it about 6 months. I reached out to the vendor and after about two weeks of emails back and forth to China (hugr language barrier) they agreed to ship me a replacement. 7 weeks later a new keyboard shows up but it is thrown in a torn box and that was put in a soft envelope. It was beaten to snot by the time it got over here and, of course, it did not work. I reached out and they said they would send another one but I had to pay for it. I actually agreed to it because I really liked the keyboard. After another 6 weeks of trying to get them to send me an invoice to pay, they just stopped responding to me. Stay away from this seller, they do not care at all for the customer. ---- Die hard Mac user and I needed to replace my existing apple keyboard and I wanted something fun instead of the few and stoic boards that Apple offers. I wanted fun and I got it. This baby lots up like a christmas tree and has lots of variations for lighting selections. It has that great clickity clack of the early keyboards (they were mechanical, like this one is) and coupled with the old school typewriter keys it was everything I could possibly want. Now, If you grew up or learned to type on a manual, you will have no issues adjusting to this style of keyboard and you won't lose your keystroke speed. I like it so much that I actually key more accurately than on the low keys found on the Apple boards. You will have to make a few adjustments regarding function keys as this is made for the PC market, but once you know which keys to use you will be off to the races again. As for sound, it clicks and clacks so if you are in a cube farm, this may not be for you as it will disturb those who like a more quiet work area. (think typing pool and you will understand the sound of 20 manual or Selectric typewriters working at the same time.) I work remotely so I can clack away to my hearts content. Only thing lacking is the manual which is as rudimentary as you can get. Would have preferred a webpage link where I could see the details and information with supporting documentation instead of the little tri fold they give you. So for the price and the quality, I received a keyboard that I love typing away on and I suspect you will too.

Best part is the mechanical click sounds and how bright the keyboard can actually get. Now it does suck that its not in any way linkable to a color software program that could control the lights, but its some pretty awesome built in preset features that make it just as competitive for the price. All in all it comes with a plastic keygrip remover and a small brush that works very well at cleaning out the grooves for when it gets dirty. The only real down sides the one blue color for the Maker Icon that lights up at the bottom, you can turn it off and set it to pulse like a heartbeat which is cool and this is separate from any other keyboard features. The Numluck, caps lock, windows (when locked for game settings) and the scroll look are the only keys to my knowledge that are base white and don't change colors at all. the light up white when used but turn off when not used. not noticeable for the light effects so not to much of an issue.

This keyboard was everything i expected and so much more. Excellent quality. I use it for work though its a gaming keyboard. It has all the normal buttons a normal keyboard would have. I love the old school typewriter feel. With that being said it is loud but nothing extreme. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who wants a fun colorful keyboard with a typewriter feel. I would definitely buy this again. The only down side is it isnt wireless, which i knew when reading the description. I do think you can change the lighting to different solid colors vs multicolor and i think you can turn the lighting off as well, but what fun is that? Haha
