- Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2020I bought these a little concerned about some of the reviews I've read for these (and other similar) controllers, but I'm glad I did. I connected them to my laptop running OpenEmu, set up the controller using the preferences panel (no surprises there), and was immediately taken back to 1998 with all my N64 favorites!
Controllers function just like the original - at least I think. It's been a couple decades since I played and I really don't remember the original controllers that well. I will say that very tiny, micro movements with the joystick seem more difficult than I remember (like aiming the cannon in Mario 64 or trying to hit a zoomed target in GoldenEye), but that just adds a little more challenge to the game!
I've probably logged 30+ hours with each controller and so far no problems. In fact, I'm going to get two more so I can relive those old 4-way multiplayer games!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2021I hated the product, I typed in n64 controllers and got these weird emulater controllers. It’s not compatible to the original N64 port. Re selling these items to an old game store. For REAL N64 CONTROLLERS.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2019Controlls work great just as I remeber them on the N64. They do need mapping, but thats nothing to conplicated. Very easy to use.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2019Are use USB Nintendo 64 controllers are amazing they feel great and act like the originals
- Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2019It’s not a classic n64 controller it’s a USB port so you will need to purchase an adapter if you wish to play it on your n64
- Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2020Only one of the controllers worked.
