Customers report that the auxiliary cable works well with game zeros. However, the sound quality receives negative feedback, with multiple customers mentioning horrible loud static sound. Additionally, the durability is concerning, with several customers reporting that the cable broke within 6 months of use.

Bought this to use with an EPOS PC headset. Worked great at the beginning. Randomly one day as a got back on my PC i now hear an awful static/scratching noise. I was able to test many things to diagnose it was the cord. I bought another brand, and now my headset works fine. The cord was literally stationary, and never moved or changed.
The cable technically works but with one big problem. Even with my microphone in the muted position, the audio going to my headset would bleed into the mic line. So for example, with my mic muted or not, if I am in a discord call or any other voice chat, The audio coming from games/music/videos/etc would actually bleed through into the mic line and others could hear it. This is an issue specifically because when playing games with friends, they'd hear audio coming from my game. The two lines must be very poorly insulated to cause this. I didn't have this issue with my original cable and the new one from Sennheiser directly doesn't have the issue either. I do not recommend this cable if you're commonly in voice chats. Otherwise it does enough to make the headset functional but not worth it for the drawbacks.
i copied this review because it's exactly what happened to me ...
