A Must Have If You Use Two Monitors!

A Must Have If You Use Two Monitors!
This is exactly what I needed for my two 27" monitors. I currently have two Monoprice IPS Monitors PID # 10509. They each weigh in at 14.1 pounds (Via Monoprice Specifications). This mount easily handles them both with no issues. There is plenty of adjust ability with this mount. I can have one monitor in portrait configuration and the other in landscape. See my attached photos for my set up, which is side by side. Putting this together was easy, but I needed the assistance of my wife when mounting the monitors to the stand. Everything went together as designed, BUT the included screws they provided are to LONG for my monitors. I had to go to a hardware store to purchase other screws that were smaller in length. Once I had the new screws, I was good to go! The mount is stable and the height can be adjusted, tilt adjustment and again as I stated portrait/ landscape adjust ability. I have my two monitors side by side, but you can leave space in between if desired. I recommend this stand and I am very happy with it.

This stand is very solid and holds my two 23" monitors beautifully. If you don't mind the heavy base taking up room, this is an excellent stand. It doesn't bother me. I couldn't use the one that attaches to the desk. Love this - so convenient! It's a bit of a challenge getting the monitors attached - I laid them on the bed face-down and attached them that way. Make sure you rest the stand with the monitors against your body when making the adjustments to the arms, just to prevent the stand from tipping until it's stabilized and the monitors are set the way you want them.
Box comes with the allen wrenches you need to attach the monitors. You may need a screwdriver to undo the monitor stand that comes with the monitor, if you are converting to this type of stand.
You can also use this with a single monitor. Just fold the other arm away and make sure the stand is balanced properly.

Quite good. The arms on this stand let me do what others can't; I can adjust how far forward or back the monitors are from me. My previous stand for two 24" screens had a fixed horizontal bar, to move back or forward you had to physically move the base of the stand. One thing on this stand is the 'cord management' doesn't do anything- the slots are way too small for even a single DVI cable, let alone that plus a power cable. I just take the cables and lay them over the top of each arm, then route them behind the vertical pole. Not great, but workable. It does hold two 27" 16 x 9 monitors with 1/2 inch bezels, no problem. I can arrange the monitors to stay together in the center at a slight angle- this is something other stands have trouble with, eventually you start seeing a small gap between. The monitor mounts seem to be tight, I've only had this for about a month so time will tell if anything starts drooping, but they seem solid for now. On this stand I can keep the monitors at about 5 inches off the desktop, this is slightly higher than I had my 24" screens, but it seems to be more vertically centered when I'm sitting in front of them. There is also about 5" more I could raise them on the pole, so plenty of adjustability height-wise. However- don't try adjusting height with the monitors on it. I had help when putting the monitors onto the stand, but I think you might be able to do it yourself- with lots of care and patience. Not easy by any means, but do-able. The stand doesn't flop over face down when you attach one screen, it will stand up. Just don't bump it when you're trying to attach the second screen, go slow and steady. Overall, I'm happy with this stand, it's very good for the price- I would buy it again.

Great stand. Picked up two 24 inch ASUS VE248H monitors and they fit perfectly. Solid and stable on the table. This was a Christmas gift for my son but I may pick up another set of monitors and this stand for myself. The monitors are at the same height but can move up / down together or go wider or angle independently. Easy to assemble - took about 10 minutes to completely set up.

This product was Set up by my company's IT department, and this item was crooked, extremely crooked . One computer was higher than the other. We have since purchased another brand and product and it is perfect and not crooked. This product was a waste of time, effort and money
  • Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2015
It does the job but if you want to move the monitors up and down, it takes at least 3 hands to do it effectively and to adjust the height you have to loosen and tighten four hex screws with an alan wrench (so don't lose the one that comes with it). The arms are finicky about moving smoothly from side to side. Nor do the monitors sit exactly side by side, off just slightly. It does the job once you get everything in place, just don't expect to move anything easily.

Before writing this review I was in contact with the manufacturer and they suggested that the arm movements were because the screw & nut holding the arm joints were too tight and that my problem with the monitors not being aligned was because it was not set up correctly. Having tried to loosen the arms joints with the tools I have in the office, it was quite unsuccessful. Perhaps at home I would have had better tools and achieved the necessary adjustments. I was not able to adjust the monitor alignment.

Overall, I would not buy this product again and look for something with easier movement options.

This is a great stand. It is heavy, but mine is holding up two 27 inch LG LPS monitors. It takes a little time to setup and to get everything adjusted, but as I said it is heavy and needs to be to hold up 27 inch monitors. All the parts are included right down to the screws for the monitors. I highly recommend that you have a good ratchet and No.2 Phillips screw driver.

One of the other reviews mentioned it scratched his desk. Not if you handle it carefully. There are pads under the feet that will prevent it, but you need to make sure that you put it straight down and don't rock it. I would highly recommend that anyone that purchases this stand has help assembling it, mounting the monitors and placing the stand and monitors on a desk.

Bottom line, it was exactly what I needed and it is built heavily enough to handle the weight of two 27 inch monitors, so get a friend to help you with it.
