Love everything about this monitor and the seller. This monitor is great! the monitor might require a tiny bit of adjustment if you are using an HDMI cable (Very bright at default value); but, for the most part beautiful color and size for the moderate artist. More detailed consumers may be a little offput by the monitor stand, it does shake a small amount depending on the type of desk as well as if you are heavy-handed on the keys (such as myself). However, this doesn't deter the overall quality of the monitor itself. If you're interested in this monitor but my comment, about the stand leaves you skeptical, I would suggest picking up a cheap stand or wall mount for the device. One last mention, I haven't tested this monitor with any VGA adapter since my secondary monitor currently occupies the vga spot.

    It is a really good monitor. I have used it for a few days now (with a 2nd one I bought). It fired up right away and my Lenovo recognized it immediately (through VGA, HDMI and thunderbolt-to-HDMI). It is great for doing office work - very nice and smooth look for office apps. If you work with HD pictures/graphics, it is probably too low end for you though. Pictures look decent but not vibrant. It is easy to get from box to being set up on desk. It does tilt some, enough to adjust for height differences. Footprint is light so it is easy to shift right/left as needed to adjust angle in that way as well. Viewing angle is just fine for office work as well (seems good for about a 90 degree viewing field - that is, a viewing field coming out diagonally from each side of the monitor). Also, I am liking it's height - actual screen starts at about 4.5" high and it's amazingly high enough to put little things, including a coffee mug, right in front of me without blocking anything.

    I bought this monitor in early 2015 and I'm actually back to buy another for a dual monitor setup which brings me to this review I forgot to leave earlier. This monitor is great for my general purpose/home office usage. While I am a console gamer I cannot speak on it's PC gaming abilities.
    I really like the matte finish on this screen, my home office is pretty bright midday and even with a window right behind me I don't get any nasty glare. I'm sure this matte takes away from a little color reproduction but that is not as important for my use, if I want a great blow-the-socks-off color reproduction and quality I'll use my living room TV-)).

    Some thing that could be better is the tilt of the screen. In that I mean the screen tilts but only a small amount(what you see in the item picture is about max) and I wish it would go farther for situations where I might be standing up looking at the screen, then again I'm also tall so this is pretty minimal. Also, the construction is a little on the cheap side but its not like its falling apart on the desk, however, if your monitor will be getting handled by children or potentially taking trauma more than others, you might want to look for another, when I handle the monitor the stand feels like it could eventually break if it was stressed much.

    In the end I would recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a general purpose/home office 22" 1080p display that will not be mounted to a monitor arm or put in harms way. The price is excellent for the product and no complaints here after a year of use.

    Purchased this item less than four months ago, already dead. The monitor first started having a delay, the screen would freeze, etc. Eventually it stopped working at all. When plugged into a PC, it will attempt to display, show a smattering of pixels, then go black. This continues on and on.

    No problem, I'll simply use the warranty to return the product to Acer and get it repaired. Well, turns out that to ship the $109 monitor to Acer costs $55 via UPS. Acer's automated help line is not very helpful, so now I'm stuck with a dead monitor. Last time I'm buying an Acer product.

    I had purchased one of these monitors a few years back and really liked it (and it's still working great!). On this new monitor however, the screen itself (when the monitor is off) is quite dull looking compared to the older model. It's also a little hard on the eyes as there is some faint flickering and also vertical bands of slightly darker/brighter areas. Overall, not very happy with this monitor and probably should have just sent it back.
