Sleek Sophistication for Your Everyday Home and Work Life
BenQ is revolutionizing the monitor industry with improved resolutions, faster response times, and quicker refresh rates. With an ultra-slim bezel, 1920 x 1080 resolution, and 3000:1 native contrast, this 22" LED monitor is ideal for work, home, and everything in between. Plus, industry-leading eye-care features ensure user comfort, especially during long hours of use.
Features That Create a Stunning Visual Experience While Protecting Your Eyes
Flicker-Free Technology to Minimize Eye Strain
Flicker-Free technology eliminates flickering at all brightness levels and effectively reduces eye fatigue. Conventional LCD screens flicker 200 times per second. Your eyes may not see flickers, but they can certainly feel them. Free your eyes from harmful flickers by switching to flicker-free monitors and let your eyes do less work for less eye strain.
Low Blue Light Technology to Help Protect Your Eyes
Low Blue Light Technology is designed to filter out harmful blue light, effectively diminishing eye fatigue and irritation. Easily switch to one of four preset Low Blue Light modes from the OSD hot key (Multimedia, Web-Surfing, Office, and Reading) and reward your eyes without sacrificing your on-screen content quality.
3000:1 Native Contrast Ratio
An ultra-high native contrast of 3000:1, which is three times the contrast of conventional panels, adds astonishing color depth and definition to images.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2016These are fantastic monitors if you adjust them properly. Unfortunately the optimal settings for this monitor aren't the defaults.
I suggest the following settings:
Menu -> Picture Advanced -> Picture Mode -> User
Menu -> Picture Advanced -> HDMI PGB PC Range -> Full
Menu -> Picture -> Color Temperature -> User Define -> Set all to 100%
After those adjustments, the picture quality is fantastic. Excellent contrast, saturation, sRGB color space, viewing angles, and brightness/color uniformity. 1080p on a 22" monitor is also very sharp
The stand for this monitor is satisfactory, but not exemplary. It is a good bare minimum for a stand. It allows only vertical tilt adjustment. However, it does have VESA mounting holes so you may use an arm or aftermarket stand if you prefer.
The integrated speakers are also satisfactory, nothing worth listening to music on, but entirely adequate for office use. About the same as a good laptop speaker system. The ability to transmit audio over HDMI is convenient.
The frame is a glossy piano black, which is not necessarily my favorite due to fingerprints, but it does look sleek.
The onscreen menu interface is nothing special but gets the job done in a no-nonsense manor.
Overall I would recommend these monitors to anyone looking for a good quality monitor.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2018Overall this is a pretty good monitor. I got 3, each under $100, and for the price I think they are extremely competitive against other brand name monitors like Asus and LG.
Pros:
-Fairly light weight.
-Decent brightness levels.
-Easy options to turn on reading modes and lessen blue light (though you can do it on Windows 10 through night light).
-Colors seem pretty good, though I'm not using these for media production.
-Speakers are just an extra when it comes to computer monitors. Handy to have if you don't have any speakers or just needed to test some sound.
-Bezels are fairly small. Not distracting at all.
Cons:
-Speaker quality is not great, but that's expected. Can't really max them out without distortion.
-Menu navigation make it a little hard to adjust brightness quickly, but that's just a nitpick.
Other thoughts:
For clarity, the 22 inch model I have is GW2270HM but there's a FHD and a VA version. The FHD model does not have a HDMI port or integrated speakers. As to my knowledge, the model number is the same for both versions. But on my actual monitor, it says HDMI in the bezels.
I like this because it's light weight, thin, flicker free, 1080p, and just simply looks good to the eye. The purple BenQ logo on startup is kind of "eh", but it's not a big deal. Would definitely recommend these to anyone, whether FHD or VA version. I only got the VA version for just-in-case scenarios I needed sound without having to carry speakers or headphones around or I happened to be moving the monitors around.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2018Note: This review is for the GW2280.
This is a well designed monitor for the price. A lot of monitors in this price range lack features that this monitor has. Here are things I like about it:
- 2 HDMI ports, so I can plug one into my computer and one into my game console
- Monitor wakes up quickly from standby (compared to other monitors I've used)
- No DVI ports (why bother, since DVI doesn't carry audio. Some monitors in this price range have 1 DVI and 1 HDMI, but I think 2 HDMI is better)
- Built in speakers (the sound quality isn't amazing but it is ok given the price)
- Line in port (In case you want to transfer audio from your computer to the monitor via 3.5mm jack)
- Line out port (In case you don't like the built in speakers or want to use headphones)
- Intuitive OSD (on screen display)
- Volume control is easily accessible from the OSD
- Changing picture mode is quite easy from the OSD
- Has VESA mounting holes in case you want to mount it somewhere
- The bezel is quite thin
- Uses a standard power cable without needing any power brick
The only minor issue I have with it is that the standby LED is a bit bright, so you may want to power it off if you are trying to sleep near it. Instead I added a piece of electrical tape to the front of the LED. (See the attached picture) This blocks most of the light. There will still be some indirect light cast downwards but it does not bother me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice monitor, kooky setup
This is a nice, low cost monitor.
But setup is a little mystifying for the person like me, who only gets a new monitor once every few years.
The thing to be aware of is that you control setup with the semi-circular buttons at the bottom right of the monitor, not your keyboard.
A final piece of advice. Try to have another device around where you can search on the internet in case of problems. If you simply disconnect your old monitor (or this is your initial monitor) thinking setup will be a breeze, you might have to suffer a little before you get things going.
If you're a tech whiz, or it IS a breeze, good for you. But if you want to save some potential grief, better to be safe than sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Muy bueno

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I was looking for
I was looking for a small tv for the kitchen, and thought I would check the price of moniters, since I could use a another for work. I found that computer monitor can be much cheaper than tvs of similar size, but it's hard to find a monitor with native speakers. This model has worked perfectly in a dual role as a second computer monitor and for watching Netflix, using a Chromecast and tablet.
As previously mentioned, the selection of monitors with built in speakers is rather slim, so I am glad I found this item. Even more so, since it was on sale, but I would say that this is well worth paying full price. The sound is more than adequate for a small or medium room, based on normal viewing (if you want great sound effects for video games or action movies, speaker will still be required).
No issues with frame rate. And the image quality and colours are good.
As a computer monitor, it is a great value for the size and resolution, and I like low blue light feature to avoid eye strain when working long hours.
I would recommend this product, and it is a great replacement for a small tv, since you will pay less and get better quality.
