    I purchased this video card on a whim because of the color and the fact that it was the series I wanted. 1060s are killer for the games that are out nowadays. I could not believe how nicely this complimented my Red MSI H110M Micro ATX MOBO and my Red Ballistix Sport LT RAM kit. Pros: It's sleek and beautiful. The LEDs on it are subtle, but enough to make it really POP in any case with a transparent side panel. THERE ARE NOT 500 TINY PIECES OF PLASTIC TO PEEL OFF OF IT FRESH OUT OF THE BOX. (I know I'm not the only person that spends more time peeling "protective" plastic off of their video card than they do building a PC.) The performance is honestly surprising for such a budget friendly GPU. It shreds through any title I’ve thrown at it with 60+ FPS, even on the highest settings and in the peaks of team fights. Cons: To me, it seems that the fans get kind of loud during intense gaming. But, that may also be partially the other 4 fans I have in my case as well. Conclusion: I don't have much bad to say about this particular GPU, if anything at all. Easy to prep, easy to install, drivers are easy to find on the website.. +5 to MSI Gaming.

      I had originally purchased an ASUS GTX 1060 6GB since I was told that they made good products, but I found that when it arrived some of the ports were broken and that it felt really flimsy, so I returned it. I then saw that this card was cheaper than the ASUS one (about $20-$30 cheaper) and had a rebate with it as well as being Amazon's choice for the GTX 1060 series graphics cards. So I looked at the reviews and saw many good things about it and decided to order it. It arrived a few days later and I found right off the bat that the packaging was way better; the box was way sturdier, and it actually shipped in a second box unlike the ASUS one that arrived in its original packaging. After opening it I found that the user manual was also better than the ASUS one, this one told you the recommended tools and everything whereas the ASUS one basically just said to install it in the computer and put the CD in. Once I got to the card my first thought was, WOW this is a beast of a graphics card and began inspecting it to make sure there was no damage during shipping, the first thing I noticed was that this one came with plastic port protectors to prevent damage to any connections unlike the other. The next thing I noticed was that on the bottom side of the card it had a shield to protect the sensitive electronics underneath unlike the other card that just had all of the bare resistors showing. I then looked at the casing on the card and found that it was made of better quality materials and felt super sturdy. After I finished inspecting and comparing it to the other card I began installing it, the installation was a breeze and took only about 20 minutes to completely install the card and all of the drivers I needed. So far I haven’t run into any problems with the card and have been able to play any game on the highest video settings as well as being able to make complex animations and models in programs such as Autodesk Maya and Cinema 4D. Overall I would recommend this card to anyone because of its quality and ease of installation.

      Great Nvidia GPU at a REALLY Great Price!!! The main reason i bought this card was because me and my son were building a MSI computer for him. We tried to get everything MSI branded and color schemed so everything matched. And it also has the Mystic Light capability built in to it, so that was a plus.

      Now the performance is really awesome, and I always go for Nvidia when i do game cards, and this GPU does not disappoint at all!!! He can play his games on basically the highest level and there is no jittering and the frame rate is great. The card stays cool, and i believe that is because the MSI tech they use, Twin Frozr, is above and beyond most cooling fans. It is REAL quiet also, which is really great. I also bought this card because it is VR Ready, so we are covered there for when we decide to jump in the VR Gaming craze. Another reason i bought this card is because it is the same type of GPU chipset i have in my laptop, and it runs great!!!

      Installation was easy and painless, and there was no trouble while doing the installation. I like that it came with stickers to put on the computer case as well...now we can boast about what is part of the powerhouse inside.

      UPDATE: Better With VR

      -Its been a bit over 6 months now since we installed this card in the MSI build me and my son did. It is STILL kicking butt and taking names!!! One of the reason we got this card was because it was VR ready, and let me tell you, we have gone VR and have a Occulus Rift that we can use on his machine with this card, AND IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL!!! We have 3 PC's in the house that use the Rift, but this card uses it most of the time, so it gets the most play time with it. It still stays cool, NEVER LOUD, and no lag at all!!! I would tell everyone to buy this card for their new setup without any hesitation, because well...it WORKS SO GOOD!!!

      Fantastic value, really excellent bit of kit - great gaming, great for overclocking, the picture quality looks amazing on my new Asus UHD monitor - really glad I chose it. I had the 3gb version originally, but I wasn't sure if the 3gb Vram was going to be enough to future proof it with the level of games that are being released, although having said that, I've rarely seen this card go up past the 3Gb mark.

      The only downside, which Nvidia have obviously done to stop people buying 2 of these instead of the 1080, is the fact that there isn't the option for an SLI bridge to link 2 cards together - although I use it for rendering in Cinema 4d more than gaming, so I'm tempted to bu another one, as Octane requires multiple cards not linked by SLI. For someone on a budget that doesn't want to lay out £600 for a gtx 1080, 2 of these separately would have been ideal - but for the gamer, editor, motion designer, on a relatively low/medium budget - this card is worth every penny.

      I wish I'd bought a case with a window now, the LED's look great. I've even bought matching red Corsair fans, so when the side comes off my tower, or the panels are moved to one side, the card lights up, matching the glow from my Asus Z170 Pro Gaming Mobo.

      It's also incredibly quiet and even overclocked as high as I could get it, the temperatures still stay so low you can hardly hear it (I do have a Fractal R5 sound proofed case though but even with the side off, it's super quiet).

      I'm fairly new to the whole custom pc malarky, and I'm really pleased with this purchase.

      Great graphics card for the price with great performance for high level 1080p gaming and productivity and easy to install and use. Would recommend to everyone! Only thing that had me concerned at first was the fans weren't spinning on their own, but I wasn't gaming so this card is probably super efficient and doesn't turn the fans on when its not gaming. I just use Afterburner to manually fix this as an easy solutions when I was gaming.
