Mount-It! Computer Monitor Wall Mount Arm, Height Adjustable With Gas Spring For 17-32 Inch Monitors 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, 32, VESA 75, 100

Mount-It! single arm monitor wall mount helps clear out your desktop space and raise your monitor for a more ergonomic installation. Raising monitors to eye level helps prevent common issues such as neck and back pain and eye strain.

We utilized the best gas spring components available in the market to make the height adjustment fluid and easy. The tension on the gas spring can be increased or decreased to the adjust the amount of counterbalance for the weight of your monitors - allowing fingertip height adjustment.

Full motion design allows tilt up and down, swivel left and right, as well as the ability to push the monitor towards the wall or extend them away from the wall. You can position the monitor exactly as you wish.

We have included in the box easy to follow instructions and hardware to attach the mount to the wall and also to your monitor. Installation should only take a few minutes. Slide-in VESA plate allows you to install the wall mount to the wall, connect the plates to your monitor and slide the monitor into the wall mount with easy.

This feature helps with installation and also helps you move the monitor from one location to another without having to remove the wall mount.

    Replaced the TV mount in my class B RV (i.e., camper van). The old mount allowed the TV to swing around to face towards the front or the back of the RV, but was not adjustable vertically. I have 3 dogs who are loose when camping and they were oblivious to the TV being in the way when they went moved around the RV, would crash through it. This mount solved the problem. It tucks the TV under the cabinet when facing the rear to view from the bed/couch, and I can swing the TV over to face the front and raise it up out of the path of the dogs (and nicer viewing angle, too.)

      I was worried about the install for my HP OMEN 27i because the monitor has a 90º mounting angle... but it is fully adjustable and works great. Most mounts do not have a rotating bracket but this one does. It's easy to move up in all directions, up, down, side to side... And the installation process was super easy once you get the bolts into the wall. I bought a second one for my other monitor too, this is one of the better mounts I was able to find when I was searching. Highly recommend!

      This wall mount offered the best articulation for my needs. The high point is the screen tilt range. Most other wall mounts only do 5° forward and 15° back. Since I'm not using it for work/desk needs and instead in my room for movies and gaming, the tilt range on this one is amazing.

      The frame itself is sturdy material and of sound construction. The articulation joints are easy to adjust and manipulate.

      There are just a couple down sides:
      •I'm not a huge fan of the angle of the sections at the elbow joint but the screen tilt more than compensates for that.

      •My thin, curved, borderless 24" monitor (Scepter) isn't actually heavy enough to activate the elbow articulation piston, which is really hard to manipulate by hand when the arm isn't yet connected to the wall. There isn't a way to adjust the pressure of the piston, unfortunately.
      Once I had the thing mounted and attached the monitor, I had to add a 3lb weight to the end of the arm to get the piston articulation to function as intended.

      Otherwise, I'm pretty content with my purchase. This is the 2nd one I bought after sending a different kind/brand back.

      I got a couple of these for my two monitors. I have a bad experience with double wall mounts, so I wanted two separate single mounts.

      Pros -- It works as described, it's easy enough to set-up, and it's easy to adjust the tension etc.

      Cons -- Due to the stud spacing in my wall and the way the arms work, I have to set my monitors at a certain height to get them to line up flush like I want and I have to turn them slightly more inwards than I want. I think this product is great overall, but it'd be ideal if it had ONE more joint on it to allow a little more flexible left-right movement. I tried to measure out where I should place them, but the stud locations limited my options, and even within their range, there was no good way to test them other than putting them up and hoping it all lines up in the way you want. Again, an extra joint to add a bit more range of motion would be ideal.

      I have two of these things, one for each of my monitors. I have them mounted on adjacent studs, which ends up working out perfectly for monitors of this size.

      One installation stressor for me is that I have metal studs. I wasn't sure how much force the monitor arm would put on the screws, and therefore i wasn't sure how much of an anchor I needed. I ended up using 3/16" toggle bolts, but in retrospect, I think I could have done with just sheetmetal screws. The max extension of the monitor arm is 17" and the distance between the screws you use to mount is 5.5". That gives you a roughly 3x ratio, which means (to the best of my understanding) that the moment placed on the top screw is 3x the weight of the monitor. My monitor weighs 10lb so the moment should be 30lbf. A #10 sheetmetal screw can hold about 170lb of pullout force, which gives a large margin of safety.

Why do mine (I bought 2 at one time) seem to be crooked (see pictures attached) this is making it difficult for my brain to understand how I can successfully mount my TV onto the arm properly. As the X does not seem to be able to rotate so no matter which way I rotate or move the arm the X still remains crooked. This seemed so simple so where have I gone wrong?

      I installed this in my kitchen diner so needed my TV to move across 180 degrees at different angles and height. This arm is perfect for the job especially with gas strut just holds it in position. I attached it to LG 28" TV which is technically outside the max 27" size, however the TV is substantially under the max weight limit tolerance of the arm and uses the VESA 100 fitting on the TV.
