I DONT KNOW ITS A NICE PURCHASE

- Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2018I recently picked up one of these bad boys on a sale ($150 USD) and I can't express how pleased I am. This is my first entry into gaming monitors and this monitor delivered on all expectations.
Out of box the packaging was a bit sketchy considering it was just packaged between 2 Styrofoam plates, but despite this my monitor had no visible damage. Also the mounting equipment was well packaged along with the necessary manuals for installation. Also this monitor comes with an included display port cable, this was great as I have never owned one of these cables before.
Upon plugging this monitor in, immediately the colors looked great and that smooth 144 hz couldn't look better! I did eventually soon after applying a custom ICC profile I found on Reddit along with changing some of my monitors settings. This made the monitor even more appealing and it aided with the bright screen it has. For some this is good but for my particular setup I play majority in dimly lit setting so I needed to reduce the brightness.
TLDR; The monitor says refurbished, and some may have encountered bad models. But, If you are in the market for a gaming monitor, nothing can beat this deal. 144hz and decent colors with good response, only comes in pricey offers. For $150 USD I couldn't recommend more.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2018Been researching moving from 60Hz to 144Hz for gaming and settled on rolling the dice on a refurb. Already have two old 23" Acer LCD monitors that have held up well. This arrived in a plain brown box, packed sufficiently, and could easily tell it was used once opened. The base was somewhat scuffed and the LCD plastic casing itself was used looking, but I only cared about the LCD quality. It also was for a VESA dual monitor mount. I can honestly say the difference between the 144Hz and the 60Hz is downright disturbing. My eyes literally feel differently when I switch looking between this new one and the old 60Hz one, which is right next to it. It borders on uncomfortable actually. Absolutely nothing wrong with the screen itself and colors literally are shockingly brighter and crisper with the 144Hz compared to the older 60Hz. I absolutely will be watching for another one. Only issue I failed to realize is this is Display Port and HDMI only. I mistakenly didn't scrutinize that before purchase and breathed a sigh of relief when I realized my video card had both. If this refurb never gets back in stock, I will seriously consider buying a new one to pair it with.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2018I've ordered a few refurb monitors in the past, and they've both been returns. Dead pixels and hot spots had me swearing off refurbs. My buddy bought one of these for his gaming rig, and it's great! The price dropped a bit more, so he ordered two more for his wife and daughter, and I decided to order one for my son. I game on a 1440p Acer Predator XB271HU (with a 1080Ti), so I'm willing to spend the money on a nice Acer monitor, but I wasn't about to spend that much money on a monitor for my son. My son's PC runs an RX580, and 1080p is probably the sweet spot for his PC, which made this 144 Hz monitor a no-brainer. It performs fantastically, is similar to the Predator and other Acer monitor as as OSD menus go, and works as well as I'd expect a new monitor to work.
The OSDs Acer uses are not my favorites, but they make great gaming monitors, and the bang for the buck here is fantastic. I highly recommend picking on of these up if you're gaming on an AMD card and looking for a 144 Hz Freesync monitor to game with.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2020Overall, great purchase for the price. I was disappointed with how it was packaged, as the only protective measure were some inflated pads, but the monitor itself was not damaged. Had a heavy box been placed on top of this one, I’m sure the monitor would have been heavily damaged. There were also a few finger smudges on the screen and a noticeable amount of dust upon opening, however there really isn’t much ground to complain for a 27” 144hz monitor at this price point.
Also, there are no instructions included to put the stand together, but it only took me 2 minutes of fiddling to figure out. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to include some, though.
All in all, this is a fantastic deal. Take advantage before they boost the price.

I wrote the above shortly after setting up the monitor but wanted to wait to post it until I could confirm the refurb had no issues. Well, I did come across 2 things.
The first issue is a stuck pixel near the top of the screen. It’s not too big a deal personally since it will always reset with a quick rub, but for some this is a deal breaker.
The other issue which set on recently is about a fifth of the screen, at the very top and stretching from edge to to edge, will flicker black and start displaying properly a few seconds after. This happens randomly and has always fixed itself.
Despite those two issues I am very happy with this purchase. Just make sure to test the monitor out for a few weeks to make sure you do not run into any more serious display issues.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2020Day 1, pc monitor arrived in a plain brown box, was packed with lots of cardboard and air bubble wrap for its protection, I am impressed it was packed very well. unboxed and installed, to my surprise no dead pixels, no scratches and its in perfect working order.
Day 2. Still going strong, monitor is beautiful. The 144hertz and 1ms response time i can clearly see in my game play and in watching simple videos on you tube, the picture quality is amazing and response is seriously quick.
Day3. im extremely happy with my purchase, i have experienced no issues and have used monitor for 32 hours of run time at the moment and its operating as a new monitor would and far out beating expectations.
acer re-certified not only saved me a ton of money on a much nicer monitor then i would have been able to afford, but coupled with the picture quality and and on demand response i can say im extremely happy with this purchase and would purchase another in the future for my son.
