This product is easy to assemble and it has a very nice aesthetic look to it. What I don't like is how the USB Port dock gets easily pushed out because the clips aren't strong enough. As for the other reviews regarding how USB ports don't work, they actually do work. I simply had to go to computer > device manager > locate the usb ( "generic usb hub") > uninstall > and plugged it back in (reinstalling it). If you have more than one "generic usb hub" you can double click and check the event tab, which will indicate your newest device.

    I ordered two of these, despite the negative reviews over the "defective" USB ports. I decided that even if they didn't work, I liked the look of the risers, and honestly didn't need the extra USB ports. They look wonderful with my glass-top desk; look's like they were made for each other. As far as the USB ports go, 7 out of 8 work. There is one faulty port, which will not read any of my flash drives, but the other seven work just fine. I'm not quite sure what the other buyers are having difficulty with when it comes to the ports, but just like any other USB device, it's "plug-and-play." I would definitely recommend purchasing this riser if you need a little more desk top room and do not want to give up the "aesthetic."

    Did not come with usb hub it just came with legs if I knew the usb huh wasn’t included I definitely wouldn’t have bought it 50$ for some glass and clip on legs is a rip off
