    I ordered this item for my desktop and yes it did add the right amount of height and did offer organization for your desk. My only issue is 1. It looked cheap once on my desk and 2. It doesn't universally fit all your office supplies especially your phone. If you have a case on your phone then that space is useless. I returned and opted for a different riser by the same company and now I am very happy.

    Really wasy to assemble, it's pretty much a plastic molded piece with metal legs you attach. Fits your basic needs and for the price it's really great. If you want something more classy or better looking, then I would recommend something else. However, if you want something that does the job, it'll be perfect. I would recommend for kids or teens because easy to clean.
