We recently updated my daughter's computer and in the process, switched from a desktop to a laptop. In order to take advantage of the larger screen size of the desktop monitor, we needed a way to get it off the desk to make room for the laptop and connect the two. We first looked at metal monitor stands at Walmart & Best Buy, but they were just plain black stands with no aesthetic appeal whatsoever. For $25-30, we felt we could do better shopping Amazon - and we did. My daughter spotted this model and immediately liked it. After reading so many positive reviews, we decided to give it a try. After all, the price was less than $20 and Amazon even provided a coupon for an extra $1 dollar off. So happy we did! It's very well built, takes about 5 minutes to assemble, and her laptop fits underneath perfectly! Awesome product and perfect for freeing up desk space, especially when using a laptop - which slides right in and sits perfectly on the lower "legs".
