I wasn't even looking for something like this at the time I came across it. I was looking for things to take the clutter off my desk, keep papers organized and in one place until ready to file. I had just found a desk organizer when I saw this. Something clicked.
I thought maybe I could get the monitor off my desk, hide the ugly array of tangled wires that were behind my monitor and spilling out onto my desk, all the while adding more organization. This did just that.
The other organizer, from another manufacturer, is also in bamboo. Because it is bamboo, they match so closely, they look like they were made by the same company.
I had three pen/pencil cup holders on my desk that contained my multitude of pens, pencils, highlighters, markers, paint pens, scissors, ruler, magnifying glass and some other things they were storing. The holders on each side of the stand eliminated all three of them.
The center shelf holds my docking station and USB switch, again eliminating wire clutter and gaining desktop space.
The top has a groove routered out that easily holds my phone, but it is deep enough and wide enough that I think it would also hold a tablet/ipad.
Easy to put together. Instructions were picture only but they were clear and easy to follow.
Very sturdy and will last forever.
