PLAY HARD, STAY SILENT - TWIN FROZR 7 THERMAL DESIGN
The 7th generation of MSI’s TWIN FROZR cooler takes the ultimate cooling design to the next level. A new TORX Fan 3.0 design and updated aerodynamic heatsink advance the possibilities of thermal performance and low-noise efficiency.

REINFORCING BACKPLATE
A backplate reinforces the graphics card while completing the plated exterior look.

BRILLIANT DISPLAY OF COLORS
Splash on some color using the MSI Mystic Light utility. Choose from millions of colors or one of the predefined animated effects.

THERMAL PADDING
Generous amounts of thermal pads let various components transfer heat directly to the heatsink.

POWER ALLOCATION TECHNOLOGY
PCIe power allocation enables the card to draw more power from the external PCIe power connectors instead of the PCIe slot on the motherboard.

TORX FAN 3.0
MSI TORX fan keep the limits of thermal performance turning. Fan blades alternate between traditional blades and dispersion blades that focus and accelerate airflow into the heatsink.

ZERO FROZR: STAY UNDETECTED
First introduced in 2008 by MSI, ZERO FROZR technology stops the fans completely when temperatures are relatively low, eliminating all fan noise when active cooling is unneeded. The fans will automatically start spinning again when the heat is on during gaming.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2020Amazing card! The cooling on this is almost overkill for stock, but perfect if you want to flash 5700 XT bios and overclock a tad on top of that. I currently have mine stable at 2025mhz using the Stock fan curve (I like it quiet) with temperature at 75, and junction temp at 95.
It's pretty large though so make sure the dimensions will fit your case before buying.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2020So far I own 3 of these and they run hot. Make sure that there is plenty of airflow in your computer. Very long card. Probably one of the biggest cards I've ever purchased in my lifetime. You will need at least a mid size custom case to fit it that does not have anything on the front of it where the pcie slot is. The price was great when I made my 3 purchases but keeps going up and idiot sellers are marking up a GPU that is not in high demand. Dont buy if it reaches over $400. Not worth it if you game. At that price you can buy a better cars from Nvidia with better cooling and smaller card. I am holding off on buying more until the price of the card goes back down. No need to waste money on something like this when GTX super cards are right around the $400 price range.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2020The card barely fit in the mid size case.
Ubuntu driver install 19.20 and 19.50 intramfs building fails. So frequent issues at the moment.
No Linux adrenaline option. Seems fine on Win10.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2020Wow, I'm impressed with this card. I've heard things about it being tricky out of the box, what with amd's drivers. But I've had zero problems. I get 120+fps on dota 2 ultra settings 4k. With my setup, it's quiet, stays cool, and preforms like a beast. Thanks msi.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2020Gaming X has a nice minimal look with RGB lighting and a nice red accent around the fans. The graphic card runs very cool under load, stays around 55-60C in games and video renders. The only thing that I would warn is the size of the card, make sure that the card fits in your case because it a big card.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2020Installed in my new pc build. Worked fine while just browsing but upon loading any game the screen would go black and crash. I tried installing new drivers and still nothing. Eventually I could get some games to run in windowed mode, but it was too much of a hassle to deal with. Bought a 1660ti instead and runs great

- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2020With the RX 5700XT series being discounted, high-end non-XT models have lost their value proposition. For just 20 more dollars you could get the excellent Gigabyte Gaming OC 5700 XT, and gain far more performance. However, on it's own, this is a wonderful card - cool and quiet - but there are better options in the lower end 5700XTs. If you don't have the money for one, then pick up a lower end 5700 and keep the extra cash.

1.0 out of 5 stars Black screen issue
Video card only showed black screen. I replaced it with a GTX 2070 Super and had absolutely no issues.
