We love these headphones. We had another pair for our child in kindergarten, and the foam had come off of them at some point, and we didn't know until they came home at the end of the year - they had to be pretty uncomfortable. The next year, we bought a pair of these from a local store, and he is now using them for the third year, and they have held up great. Our second started kindergarten this year, and these were the headphones we went for, after so much success with them with our other child. I don't like the idea of earbuds for little kids whose fingers are assuredly not clean, and who might force them too much, and I feel better with decibel limits b/c I've visited in too many classrooms where the whole room can hear a kid's headphones blaring -- poor thing. If they're going to have our kids use headphones day in and day out, I want to ensure they are safe for their ears.
