Want GREAT cheap headphones...GET THESES!!!!!
Got these as a gift. The controls are on the left side (see attached pic). These, ESPECIALLY for the price are FANTASTIC!!!! They do have a GREAT all around sound. It has a nice base sound, while also having a great treble sound. They don't have a hard hitting base, but you CAN hear the base. As I stated these have a FANTASTIC all around sound. They are not tinny, or sound like you are in a hole while useing them. As a mater of fact, the TV that I have these bluetooth to (through a seperate bluetooth adapter) sound better than than the more expensive pair that these were a gift to replace. (I don't remember what the damaged pair was, I just know they cost A LOT more than these are). They are light weight, and have a GRRAT battery life. I personally have used them for 10.5 hours of CONSTANT use before j finnally decided to charge them up again. They do get LOUD!!! Not as to the point where they can/will cause hearing loss (for the record it is 85 decibels where hearing loss occurs). But in a somewhat quiet environment, say like in a vehicle with other people and such, they should be PERFECT. These DO NOT have noise cancelling NOR sound isolation. In a crowded loud environment these have JUST enough volume to overcome the background noise, but WILL NOT overcome it. What you are listening to will be just over the top of the crowded background. If you are looking at theses for use in public, as stated above, it has just enough to overcome a crowded background. These are JUST loud enough that you could use them on a aircraft, but you would still hear the engine/engines of the aircraft, again also due to the fact these are not noise cancelling nor noise isolating. If your looking for over the head headphones these are the ones to get. I truly belive that for this price point you will NOT find any better (~$30). When you consider comfort, weight, battery life, sound quality ect, they PACKED these FULL to get the "best" of all the categories and bringing it in at this price point. They arent Bose or other high end equipment, but at this pric, THERE IS NOT ANYTHING BETER out there for this price point, as of the time of this review. This is NOT a paid or discounted review. I got them for free as a gift from the individual that broke my other pair of headphones.
