    I've had Urbanears products over the years; somehow always getting destroyed out of my control. These over the ear headphones blend fashionable design with comfortable earmuffs, soft-touch headband, and 5-way knob to control any media player. The high's are very good, the mid's are just as good but, the lows are there but not very pronounced. I would say these are more inlined with audiobook, podcast and not very good of heavy bass music. The rating on the headphones battery is 30+ hrs after full charge; we'll see how long it actually lasts.

      I had the ADV headphones (the last model) for about 5 years and wore them until they literally broke (like all things do). Point being- these headphones were AMAZING for 5 years. For like $100. When they did break I waited a little to shop around, but the clean lines, simplistic design, and the quality from my own personal experience of Urbanears just didn't compare to other brands. I am kinda sad that the battery light is on the underside of the earpiece, so now you cant see the flashing light warning (you are still alerted via a little chime) but the comfort of the cushions and the sound quality are still great. LOVE THE BUTTON THOUGH! the ADV had a buttonless control on an ear. So easy to use and I don't have to think about where the buttons are. Just a note tho- these aren't for noise cancellation so I'm not sure why I was prompted for a rating about that. These are simple headphones but I keep coming back for the look and the quality.

      Hung out at a friend's backyard...lovely evening for some social distancing around a fire. Put these headphones in the grass next to my stuff...what could go wrong? Fast forward an hour and a storm starts rolling in. This was no ordinary storm, if you've ever seen James and the Giant Peach, these clouds were similar to the scene where the evil Rhino reveals his DOOM on the friends and their beloved peach (very dark for a kids movie, but that's a review for another platform). Winds immediately rolled in and came the sideways rain. Apocalyptic. In a scramble... I grabbed what I could see, packed my snacks and my phone and keys and quickly vacated to my home. In that scramble I have mistakenly left these headphones out in the yard to be slammed by hail, drowned in the downpour, and left to survive the tornado warnings all night alone and afraid. These little guys weren't discovered until the next day and without much confidence, they were placed in rice (worth a shot). Fast forward to the next day to try to charge them and see what would happen (still not confident they would turn on). Plugged them in...the light came on... VERY good sign. I turned them on and heard the glorious three beeps and immediately synced back up to my phone. Played Chinese New Year by Sales (TikTok banger). They started playing glorious glorious music. The sound quality was the same as before, they survived. I don't have the best expertise on what "good sound quality" is defined by. I think these have great quality and don't hurt my ears. I wear them for hours and they don't make my ears sore. If I were to say what are my favorite headphones, I'm going to pick the ones that can play great music, comfortable, AND can survive the apocalypse.

      I've been using Plattan 2 bluetooth headphones for over 2 years now, mostly to listen to music while running. I'm not an audiophile so I can't speak much to the sound quality, but regarding their other features:

      Pros:
      - The retro yet modern look of these is very chic and can easily match any outfit. I haven't seen any other line of headphones that has anything similar
      - The battery life is long as advertised, and I usually go several days in between charges
      - The on-ear and lightweight feel of these make them great for running with
      - The knob on the right side is a convenient way of controlling the audio (press to play/pause, nudge forward/backward to skip, nudge up/down to adjust volume, and press and hold to power on/off). I prefer this type of tactile control over the Bose 700's swipe method.

      Cons:
      - Both pairs I've owned had connectivity issues, namely that every now and then they will just pause the audio of whatever is playing. It's only mildly annoying since they don't completely disconnect, so I can typically just press the knob on the right side to get the audio to play again
      - There is no noise cancelling, so I actually own a separate pair of noise cancelling headphones for meetings

      In sum, these are my go-to pair while running or out and about, but for activities where sound quality matters like attending Zoom calls or creating music, you may need a separate higher quality pair.

      I use these headphones exclusively while riding my Peloton Bike. They paired up to my Peloton computer easily and are easy to operate with the button on the right ear side. The button sticks out and turns the device on and off and also changes the volume. I ususally ride for an hour and they meet my needs. They were delivered fast, and are very economical. I bought a pair of ear buds, but did not like them as they were always falling out of my ears and the volume was hard to adjust. For me the Urbanears Plattan 2 On-Ear Headphones were the way to go. I like them a lot and the sound is very good.

      These headphones are fine for what you get for the price. Decent battery life, clean design, and light-weight. My only problems with this headset is that since it sits on top of your ear instead of around it leads to some discomfort over time for me. The more annoying problem is that there's one button that is supposed to do everything which is pretty inconvenient. Having to hold it down for a few seconds to turn it on and off can be a hassle and sometimes you don't even know if you're holding it down right because if you push down and tilt the button a certain way it does something else instead of turning it on/off. I would've liked just a switch or separate buttons for these separate functions.
