For $40, I expected decent headphones but nothing extraordinary. I wouldn't say these are up there with the $300 headphones but they're definitely a good value at their price point.
Pros:
¤ Comfy: I've worn them for only about an hour and a half in one stretch but they're fairly comfortable. I usually prefer over ear to on ear, but the cushions are soft and they don't squeeze your head.
¤ Sound quality: The sound quality is what really impressed me about these. The bass is good without drowning out the rest of the sound, and the rest is clean and crisp.
Neutral:
¤ Active Noise Cancelling: I've never used this feature before on other headphones so I have nothing to compare it to. While it does work, it just seems a bit weird I guess? Maybe it's just me not getting used to it yet
Cons:
¤ Build quality: This is half con half neutral which is why I'm not docking any stars. The build quality isn't bad don't get me wrong, I don't think it will break or crack through normal use. That being said, I also don't believe it would be able to survive much if any abuse. I take good care of my things so it's not an issue for me but it could be for others who are less careful.
Overall this is a decent pair of headphones for the price. There was one issue I had where the audio was skipping when I went to resume a youtube video, but it only happened once and hasn't happened since. If it becomes an issue, I will be sure to update the review
