    Surprise surprise beauty and brains!!
I have buying earbuds since before Christmas trying to find the right pair as a gift for myself. Although I did not find the right pair in time for Christmas, I did FINALLY find a good pair. I have not tested the waterproof feature for the earbuds but I did use them for a 10+ hour delivery shift yesterday and here is my review based on that time frame. After opening and inspection of the TWS-880 earbud I went ahead and charged the case even thought it was already 89% charged. I knew my day would be long and didn't want to give a false review. First of all the instruction manual is in perfect English. Very easy to understand. extremely small print but nothing a magnifying glass won't fix. Lol!! For appearance I found that the glossy finish of the case and the earbuds themselves gave it an appearance of high-quality expensive earbuds even though we were in the less than $50 price range they looked like they were a hundred plus dollars. They function independently seamlessly. I like to use my earbuds one bud at a time. I had no issues with pairing the earbuds with my device. Usually only hook up to my phone but I tested to see if it would hook up to my TV and it did with any problems at all. My second most favorite feature is the auto reconnect when you step too far away from your Bluetooth enabled device. Having to not go back into the settings and re-pair was a top 3 feature. Ease-of-use is the number two top feature that I'm looking for. You can learn the different quirks of different earbuds. The operational features are pretty straightforward and very easy to remember whether in single mode or using both. Believe it or not my number one feature is comfortability. I use earbuds for an extremely long period of time and if they are EXTREMELY uncomfortable I have no use for them at all. These earbuds are very comfortable to wear and I almost forgot that I had them in my ear and that is saying a lot on a 14-hour day. I only had to trade out one time during a 14-hour shift. I started with b left earbud and only had to shift over to the right earbud at about the 6-hour mark of my day. Although my volume level is very low and I'm extremely close to my device being in the car I still think that is a pretty good battery life for the single bud. Overall I think if you're looking for a pair of earbuds you're not going to go wrong here.

I'd give 'em 5 stars if it were not for the fact that the first pair I ordered came with a defective case. (One symptom: After fully charging case and earbuds and disconnecting from the power adapter, the case battery would run down completely within a day even with no use of the earbuds. Other strangeness as well.)

Note that these do not have active noise cancellation. The CVC 8.0 standard they advertise is a different sort of noise cancellation that refers primarily to what the microphone picks when you are making a phone call. It has no impact when you are playing recorded sound. So the noise cancellation claim is very deceptive for those who actually want active noise cancellation. (I actually prefer being without because I walk on streets in my neighborhood and I want to be sure that I can hear cars coming from behind me.)

The "27-Hour Uninterrupted PlayTime" claim is false. The case plus buds may be able to hold enough energy to support that much play time without getting back to a power adapter. However, after a few hours of listening, you still have to put the buds back in the case to get a new charge. That strikes me as a substantial interruption. There is no good reason for making a claim that clearly seems to imply something else.

In spite of my criticism of misleading claims about the product, for my own use, I am very happy with it. They are much more comfortable and sound better than the Soundcore Spirit X Sports Earphones I bought a couple years ago. (They still work, but the over-the-ear hooks and the wire that connects the buds are unnecessary annoyances.)

I have made no attempt to use them with a phone to make or receive phone calls, so I cannot comment on that.

The main complaint I have for my own use is that using the earbuds to control volume is so tricky that it is hardly worth attempting. I just use my playback device. I wish they had a no-phone mode, as that would allow a much simpler set of gestures for playing media on a tablet.

(When I determined that I had to return the first (defective) set I received, these were no longer available. So I ordered another similarly priced product that appeared to be similar. (Pasonomi, TWS, IPX7) The sound for them was surprisingly poor. Very tinny. Unfixable with an equalizer. Furthermore, even though I could use them with two different Windows 10 laptops, my Amazon Fire Tablet could not even see them, let alone connect. Fortunately, when I scheduled the return for those, these had become available again.)

Update: After using them for a while, I have encountered some annoyances (which are independent of the sound quality). I have discovered ways to deal with them that I will share here.

If you pause your playback, then, after something on the order of five minutes, the buds will announce "power off" and do so. There is then no way to get them to reconnect without first putting them back in the case. The result is that, on my daily walks (when I am always using them), I have to take the case along because I often pause playback to have a conversation with a neighbor. The fact that I have to through the process of putting them back in the case before I can connect again is very inconvenient. Nevertheless, I do still occasionally make the mistake of letting them die this way.

When you disable Bluetooth or power down the device they announce the disconnect and go into the mode of looking for a device to connect to. Oddly, they will keep doing that for a lot longer than it takes for a shutdown to occur (as above) when they ARE connected. Furthermore, if you put them in the case when they are in this state, things can go wrong. I've had them connect while in the case. I've had them run down the case battery. The only way I have found to avoid these problems is to make sure that they have powered themselves off BEFORE I put them in the case. There will be no LED on or blinking when they are really off.
