Great stand but brackets aren't what's pictured...
I have multiple Planar stands and they are brilliant. Pricey but well made and very stable. I bought one for two 27" Dell monitors but the VESA bracket that was included is not the one in the picture. Admittedly, the description says 200x100, 100x100, and 75x75 which is true but there is only one bracket to satisfy all scenarios. So when mounting to my 100x100 monitor, the bracket does not sit flush with the back of the monitor. It's stable and I doubt it will be a problem, but the picture is misleading. I've attached a picture showing the actual brackets. If you have a monitor with recessed mounting holes, the plate will rest against the plastic back. The included hardware is sufficient but it would have been optimal to have the ones shown in the description.

    I love this stand! Setup was a breeze and fine tuning the position of the monitors post setup wasn't very difficult either. This stand is very heavy so it doesn't need to be bolted down to the table or desk. My desk is all the way up against the wall in my tiny office so that wasn't ah option for me so this stand was perfect. I have had this stand for several months now and nothing has come loose or broken. I would definitely buy this again and I am looking into buying the quad stand by Planar because their products appear to be high quality. If your thinking of getting a dual monitor stand that is going to last and doesn't have to be bolted into your desk I strongly urge you to consider this one. The cost is well worth it.

    As other reviews have stated, all parts are metal... only plastic found is the o-ring inserts that allow the horizontal bars to rotate front-to-back on the vertical pole and the "washers" between the knob and horizontal bars that hold the VESA mounts to the arms. Both of which make sense to be plastic.

    The assembly was easy, all parts accounted for, and every imaginable VESA mount screw size! Getting your monitors on the arms and aligned exactly to the height and horizontal positions will take you much longer than the assembly itself. Probably spent 15 minutes or so assembling and a good hour tweaking position of the monitors horizontally and vertically.

    If you have large monitors, this is probably the best stand you'll find. I have 2 28" Asus VN289Q monitors and most stands state up to 27". I did find a few that stated 28" but reading reviews of people with that size monitor kept me away since most said they could not get the monitors far enough apart to align/angle them the way they wanted. This Planar model definitely has ample room.

    Although this stand is much more expensive than others (reasoning for 4 instead of 5 stars) I am very pleased with its design, appearance, and operation.

    I abandoned the idea of a mount like this and just set multiple monitors on the desktop. It is hard to mount monitors on this stand with the VESA mounts. They are screw knobs but should be some sort of quick connect. I threw it in the garage and don't use it anymore after a week. Money lost, live and learn. If you have plenty of room to assemble from the back side then it might be OK.
