PcProfessional have really outdone themselves this time. I've been looking for a 21.5" matte protector for my Huion GT-220 and had no luck on my first two purchases from Amazon. My first one was the UGEE 21.5 screen protector. However it ended up being a high clarity one due to failure on my part to read the description clearly.
The second one was the Kuzy matte screen protector for iMacs. I thought that since they had so many customers whereas PcPro had almost no reviews, it would be best to go with Kuzy. And boy was I wrong. Their matte screen protector was like 10% matte, 90% high clarity. It was nowhere close to my expectations. And when I emailed them, they simply explain that they changed their formula for matte protectors recently. No refund or replacement offered. After this poor CS experience, I decided to try out PcPro.
Now, ironicly the problem with PcPro was their vast selection. Each for a different monitor, with different corner roundings, slight variances in height and width (down to the mm), and I just didn't know what to choose. So I emailed PcPro and they were able to refer me to one that was close to my measurement requests and even offered to trim it for me. However, the amazing CS didn't end here! I asked them how I should go about requesting the custom size, via email or what. They replied that I should just respond by email, and also told me that they had just listed a new product that would include customization options. Not only height and width, but even corner roundings. I would like to think this was a result of my custom request. But who knows?
On to the product review, this matte protector is amazing! I have my monitor directly under two 5000k bulbs and a window that's roughly 7.5' x 5', and I can't see a reflection whatsoever! The protector looks great and feels great considering it's on my tablet monitor.
So what's in the box? In the box you get a squeegee, 4 pieces of dust removal, a microfiber cloth, and 2 protectors (anti-glare or high clarity, whichever you chose).
As for installation, the installation took about an hour with two people, however we did it to perfection. No air bubbles allowed. A little trick we did was cut one piece of dust removal into 4 strips, and used them to align the protector on the screen.
Overall, the protector is amazing as well as the customer service from PcPro.
And to those wondering what R1-R4 are, they are the radius of each corner. Each corner can be thought of as a quarter circle. If you want a fairly rectangular protector, select 3mm. For a complete right angle it'd be 0. And for a rounder corner, input 10-15mm. (I put mine at 7.5mm for the Huion GT-220 (it's similar to the curvature of an iMac).
