Short Review: They are great, adjust easily once you have them dialed in for the weight of your monitor, and are discreet. Long Review: Rationale: I got 2 of this stand (rather than a dual arm mount) because my desk space has a small cabinet and shelf space, thus it would not accommodate a dual arm. I have two Acer XB271HU monitors which come with large pointy red stands. The Acer stands themselves are great functionally speaking, but they are large and obtrusive in design. Installation: I mounted one arm using the clamp style and one using the grommet style. I didn't need to open any of the screw packages because my Acer monitors came with VESA screws preinstalled. All I had to do was remove the screws, put the VESA plate that comes with the arms in place, and screw them in. That's it for monitor prep. The clamp method was super easy to install. You just affix the clamp module to the base of the arm with the included screws. Clamp it where you think you want it and you are done. Please note: The base of the arm will not be centered to your monitor when the arm is in the closed position. You will probably have to move the base to the left/right depending on the way you orient the arm's elbow, in order to center your actual screen. See my attached picture for reference. The grommet method was just as easy, provided that you have a grommet hole already. I did not. I have a grommet drill bit and went to town on my desk. Measuring was tricky because as I stated earlier, the base will not be centered to your monitor. This means I had to attach the arm to the monitor and hold that whole thing up while my wife traced the outline of the base on the desk using a sharpie. (95% alcohol takes off all of the sharpie in case you are wondering) Once the base was traced. I measured where the hole should be and drilled away. A minute later I had a grommet hole and mounting was easy. They include a mounting plate with a long square headed bolt. The tightening dial threads smoothly and tightens the metal plate securely. Neither monitor wobbles. Function: The Acer XB271HU is a fairly heavy monitor. At first I was afraid the arm would not hold it as the monitor kept drooping even after turning the tension bolt. Well, keep turning it and don't be afraid. As long as your monitor is within the weight tolerance listed, you will be fine. My monitor height stays in place whether I lift it or lower it. The action in every direction is smooth and light/medium weight. You don't have to be strong to move the monitors, but they won't change position with the lightest of touch. The cable management routing is very nice. I haven't been able to use the upper most channel as my wiring is short and low to the monitor. I will be ordering longer cables so I can pull the monitors further up. The only two annoying parts of this arm are the tilt and rotation function. Tilt is managed by a bolt that must be tightened all the way once you have it where you want it. It does not allow for easy adjustment once its bolted in place. I tried to slightly loosen this bolt and the monitor would find its way tilting downward. I think this is a set it and forget it adjustment. Once you have it level to your liking, tighten it and never look back. Rotation action is super smooth after it is engaged. But there is a small bit of play/wiggle before it engages. So in order to get the rotation level set correctly, you have to compensate for the minor bit of play Conclusion: These monitor arms are sturdy and smooth. They look great, I don't see any of the arm/elbow from behind the monitor. As with most monitor arms, this will free up desk space in front of and under your monitors. I am thoroughly enjoying my current setup. I will update this review if anything should come up. As it stands, I highly recommend this arm.

This monitor arm is really awesome for the price. It's well constructed, made of good materials, and simple to put together. I would have rated sturdiness a 5, except I've dealt with the same type of plastic shielding on the bottom used to keep the wires tucked in. Those are never really durable, and will always break if you're paying them no mind during install. My purpose for buying this was to mount my Wacom Cintiq 22. I've been wanting this setup for a while, as the stand that comes with the Cintiq doesn't allow for much mobility, and it adds a lot of weight to the unit. Now with this little gas spring mount, I can turn the monitor freely to any angle I see fit and not worry about limitations. The freedom of movement is incredible, I can even stand up and sketch as opposed to being chained to a seat the whole time. Honestly, this mount feels like it could handle a weightier monitor fairly easily. Awesome product.

This monitor mount is working well for my 32” LG monitor. Assembly and installation took about 10 minutes; it comes with different size screws to fit various monitors. The vesa mount attached easily, and it’s a bonus to be able to quickly release the monitor from the arm by just depressing a tab. There are lots of adjustments to get the tension just right for your monitor’s weight. There’s a full range of motion as described. The material seems strong, and it looks as pictured. I liked it enough to buy a second one.

The good:. Well built, sturdy, easy assembly and super adjustable. This monitor arms is a carbon copy of the Fully arms. Those arms are known for being top notch, but also expensive. I had bought a Fully arm recently and stumbled across this one on Amazon at 40% of the price. The only difference is the color of gromet on the cable organizer and the packaging it arrives in. I tested my biggest/heaviest monitor and it seems to have the same gas shock and supports the same weight.

The bad: the packaging it arrives in is pretty minimal so be sure to check it for scratches or dings upon receipt. Beyond that I've no complaints.

I was a little wary of purchasing this for my 17LBS Dell U2711 Monitor because some reviews say it doesn't hold weight well. But I decided to try it since they say it works up to 20LBS.

I had no issues installing. I worked perfect after a few cranks of the tension screw to make it stronger.

The weight of the monitor was a little bit much for the tilt pivot so I had to crank that down really tight since the monitor wanted to tilt forward a bit. So I can't really tilt the monitor without loosening the screw, changing the tilt and tightening it again. I would be nicer if they had a tension joint there also but it's just a regular screw and bracket. I think a monitor of just about any weight will have similar issues. I took off one star from "Range of motion" because of this but I didn't take from overall rating because for the money it is still a great monitor arm and I would purchase it again. You can see the joint I am referring to in my attached close photo.

I had a small issue adjusting the stand - I had been adjusting the key the wrong way and it would not support my 24" 4kg display. However, before I noticed my error, I had logged a WhatsApp customer support question. Within an hour I was contacted. Very good customer service!

The stand is very good. Does what it says on the box at a very reasonably price. It easily supports my monitor and is adjustable enough for my needs.

Only slight negative: its slightly wobbly in the rotation plane of movement.

    Good and durable.
    What I like:
+ Stable (can hold my 25” screen with no problems)
    + Durable
+ Cable management compartments to hide the cables
+ Other: comes with 2 types of fittings to fix it into the table (Normal and drilling)

    What I don't like:
    - The finish is horrible and it doesn't match the one seen in the picture (its painted, not metal finish)
    - Minimal play at the vesa screen holder
    - Moving the monitor is not smooth and requires force, while turning the monitor is smooth

Overall its not a bad choice if its your first monitor arm and it will get the job done.

Great monitor arm. I think the quality is good. I have a 27 inch Asus curved monitor and fits and holds the monitor perfectly. Very flexible mount. can be moved to your desired height, depth or length. Recommend it.
