This screen filter did do what it was meant to do - provide filtering and privacy; however, it has scratched pretty badly and this makes it difficult to use. I actually don't use it anymore, which for almost $30 feels like a waste of money. I just came back to the product description to see if it mentioned "scratch-proof" and it does. This is not scratch proof/resistant. I will say I like how it came with simple stickers that hold it in place. They worked great and haven't fallen off. They are also inconspicuous so now that I don't have the filter in place they don't cause much of a distraction. I suppose if you're going to purchase this and never ever take it off then it might be okay. I had to remove it every once and awhile so colleagues could see my screen and I think this is how it became so scratched up so quickly.

It does provide some privacy (only if someone is off to the side of you), but by no means is it matte. You can clearly see my reflection in the picture.     I bought this product as an extra level of privacy since I deal with sensitive information for my clients. I have the HP Envy X360. which is touch screen. First I will say that the privacy for this product is pretty fair. However, the adhesives to secure the screen is horrible. The fasteners are partially split and contact a peel-away strip which is secured pretty tight and causes the fasteners to come apart when I tried to remove them regardless of how delicately and slowly I tried.

    The adhesives are kind of a thick plastic and they are very noticeable when applied (see the picture I attached). My husband who rarely pays attention to things like this asked me what happened to my screen when he first saw it. The instructions to apply the screen are vague and need pictures for clarity.

    When I applied the screen it has caused my touch screen not to work at time. It seems like it is prohibiting my screen to move and respond when I touch it. I have to remove the screen or peel it back to use the touch screen (see the short video I attached). If you have a touch screen your will be better off buy an privacy that cover that fastens to your frame and not directly to the screen.

    I also found it hard to get the bubbles out of the screen when it is applied. As I tried to use my touch screen air pockets appear and it can be distracting (see attached picture).

    I can do anything about it may damage my screen. So now I have to wait until it dries off and falls off.
